Comet – HFJ-2M – 2M Coil for HFJ-350M Toy-Box

Optional 2M coil for the HFJ-350M Toy-Box.
Requires the telescoping element that comes with the Toy-Box.
When the element is extended to the correct length, the HFJ-2M is a Ground Independent 1/2 wave antenna

A 1M length “scale” wire is attached to the base of the coil. Match the length of the telescoping section to the length of 1M scale wire, and you now have a 2M 1/2 wavelength (ground independent) antenna.

The scale wire terminates in a female bullet connector so you can move the scale wire over to the base of the HFJ-350M Toy-Box ground terminal and use the bullet connector to easily attach your own 1/4 wave ground plane radial when on the HF bands.
